Brad Goreski: Explain an experience that you thought would destroy you but actually made you stronger?

Dhani Jones: I got lost in the backcountry woods while snowboarding. I had to dig myself out and traverse for like an hour and a half, then finally found my way down.

VH1: Where were you snowboarding?

Dhani: At Utah backcountry. It’s not always cool - it’s great snow - but it’s not always cool because you can get lost. And then you’re walking through the snow and it comes up to here [gestures to waist-high], and you’re using your board to dig yourself out. You’re out there for an hour and a half to two hours, and just listening for voices to find your way down. So, that would be one of the experiences that made me stronger.
