All sorts of math just happened to bring you the official results from our Darren Criss Fantasy Vice Presidental race vote. It was neck-and-neck between Joey and Chris, but Colfer pulled out the nomination by a hair.

Who would be Darren Criss’ Presidential running mate?

We answered one of your questions about if we would vote Darren Criss for President (since our buddy Barack can’t run after this year!) and threw one out there too – if we were going to vote for Darren for President, who would his running mate be? Two good options came back in via ask – slythadorgirl suggested Glee co-star Chris Colfer and gettingcrazywiththecheezewhiz suggested Starkid co-star Joey Richter.

Some persuasion from each camp:
slythadorgirl - Darren’s running mate has to be Chris Colfer of course. They’d be the snarkiest political team ever. Plus we’d get a musical number everyday and equal rights. We’d also get pink sunglasses and diet coke.
gettingcrazywiththecheezewhiz - Darren’s running mate would be Joey Richter. I was going to say Chris Colfer (because he’s clearly a genius) but Chris Colfer is going to take over the world.

Yesterday we put Team StarKid through the pop culture paces with a 50 Shades of Grey quiz – and they failed, spectacularly. However, we’re kind and we decided to give them a second chance on a slightly less NC-17 piece of work and see if they could rise to the occasion.

Today’s challenge – Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy. They may not know much about BDSM romance novels, but we’re hoping they do a bit better on post-apocalyptic societies – their most recent tour was the Apocalyptour, after all.

During their Apocalyptour we sat the StarKid’s down for a little pop culture guessing game. They may be masters of pop culture parody, but how up to date are they? Can they tell what’s real and what we faked?
