Klaine Scores People’s Choice Nom For On-Screen Chemistry

Glee’s powerhouse couple, Kurt and Blaine, scored big with fans. Chris Colfer and Darren Criss became the only gay couple to earn a spot in the Favorite On-Screen Chemistry category and both actors picked up noms for Favorite Comedic TV Actor.

In fact the two actors lead the gayest People’s Choice Awards yet. Out actors Colfer, Ellen DeGeneres, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, Ross Mathews, Jim Parsons and Zachary Quinto all picked up nominations for various projects. TV’s Comedic Actor category is comprised of four out men and an actor who portrays a gay character. Meanwhile Glee, Orange Is The New Black and True Blood represent the small screen categories.

Yes, we caught up with Darren Criss at Comic-Con this weekend and, of course, we asked him about Klaine.

“We’ve kind of established a Ross and Rachel [relationship],” Criss told VH1. “I’m not saying they’re going to break up. I have no idea. But there’s a definite connection there that hopefully will be there till the end of whatever the show may be. But I think we’d like to see some shake-up. We are verging on old married couple territory.”

“It’s a new show now,” Darren said. “Blaine has a long-distance boyfriend and there are inherent obstacles in that, that will be good to explore. Whether they choose to stay together, it won’t be easy. If they don’t stay together it’ll be a big deal, but at least it will be drama and interesting.“
